Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to evaluate products throughout manufacturing. You will interpret engineering drawings and standards, test conformance, and record data for process control.

You will also support calibration, operate measuring equipment, and assist with MRB activities as directed by the quality leadership. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment with exposure to varying noise

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous inspection experience required.
• Paint line experience preferred.
• Computer skills required.
• Strong understanding of chemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or test product for conformance to customer requirements using drawings and standards.
• Record test data and apply SPC where applicable.
• Document reports to validate deviations from standards.
• Support calibration of tools and gauges.
• Operate measurement equipment (CMMs, profilometer, hardness tester, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Coordinate MRB activities and support containment/sorting as directed by the quality department leadership.
