Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. seeks a Quality Inspector to interpret drawings and standards, inspect products, and record test data across manufacturing processes to ensure conformance with customer requirements and internal specs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing or engineering experience. Proficiency with measurement tools, blueprints, and data reporting is expected; physical duties include lifting light to medium loads and standing

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
One year of experience in manufacturing or engineering.

Responsibilities

Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, or standards to inspect or test product for conformance.
Record test data and apply statistical process control where applicable.
Document reports to validate deviations from standards when required.
Support calibration of tools and gauges.
Operate measurement equipment (CMM, profilometer, hardness tester, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Coordinate MRB activities and support containment and sorting as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
