Mayville Engineering Company (MEC) is seeking a Quality Technician I to ensure product quality from inspection through testing. You will read blueprints, operate measurement tools, record results, and help identify deviations to prevent defects.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing/engineering, and strong attention to detail. You will support calibration, documentation, and MRB activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to evaluate inspection results.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication, and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Be the Eyes for Quality: Inspect products to verify they meet specifications and standards.
• Measure What Matters: Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and similar tools.
• Record results and apply basic statistical process controls where applicable.
• Identify, document, and report deviations from standards.
• Support calibration of tools and gauges to maintain accuracy.
• Assist MRB activities and containment as directed by Quality team.
• Read engineering drawings to verify product conformance.
• Maintain inspection records and test data for QA compliance.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure consistent processes.
