Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform first piece, in-process and final inspections per control/quality plans. You will review release documentation and complete quality records in GMP guidelines.

The role requires reading drawings, using precision metrology equipment (CMM, OGP, and related tools), and maintaining 5S and safety standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend customer drawings and specifications.
• Able to read and follow quality control plans and procedures.
• Record inspection results accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect injection molded parts for quality, appearance and performance.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, appearance and performance.
• Inspect received materials for quality, appearance and performance.
• Audit final product documentation prior to release.
• Identify root causes for defects and escalate as needed.
• Read quality plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Use precision tools and metrology equipment to measure parts.
