Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in Puerto Rico is seeking a Quality Inspector I to visually inspect labels, pids and pouches and to record inspection data for release decisions.

The role requires reading drawings and specifications in English, using gauges and inspection instruments, and adhering to GMP/Quality Manual guidelines; training other inspectors may be included, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar FDA-regulated manufacturing role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for heavy vehicles is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English documentation, drawings and procedures.
• Familiarity with SPC techniques and quality inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels, pids and pouches visually to approve packing operations.
• Obtain samples, inspect samples to specifications and record data.
• Make accept/reject decisions based on inspection findings.
• Verify dimensions and cavity measures using gauges and testing instruments.
• Follow GMP/Quality Manual and maintain control records and documentation.
• Assist in training of new QA Inspectors.
• Set up destructive and non-destructive tests on materials or parts.
• Maintain calibration and organization of quality documentation.
