Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana, seeks a Sr. Quality Inspector (Label Control) to join the Finishing Quality Assurance Team.

You will print, count, inspect, and issue client-specific printed materials for pharmaceutical products, maintaining first-pass quality with controlled documents and cGMP guidelines. The role supports inventory accuracy, trains new Label Control staff, and fosters a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality in a fast-paced environment with Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• General knowledge of Quality and Warehouse Operations preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to use enterprise software (D365, Veeva, ROBAR).

Responsibilities

• Calculate quantity of each Printed Material required for each batch.
• Set up print jobs and ensure accuracy of in-house Printed Material.
• Assemble all required Printed Materials and imprint devices for each batch as directed by the Finishing Specification Sheet.
• Document, issue, and release all Printed Materials.
• Return Printed Materials to inventory as appropriate.
• Perform resupplies of materials.
• Clearance of print stations.
• Ensure organization and maintenance of the Label Control Cage.
• Participate in process improvement teams for Label Control activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for printed materials/Label Control issues.
• Perform inventory cycle counts in the ERP system.
• Perform QA Checklist Assessments for Finishing department.
• Crosstrain on basic job skills for QA Finishing Line Operations and QA Warehouse Technician.
