Job summary

Integra LifeSciences Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector I to join our precision manufacturing team. You will inspect in-process and final parts against tight tolerances and specifications, using a range of gauging tools.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting up first article inspections, and maintaining accurate records in the 1Factory system, while following safety rules and PPE protocols to prevent defective production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years experience as inspector in a precision machining environment.
• Knowledge and experience of blueprint and spec interpretation.
• Experienced using inspection hand gauging including: micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier calipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, ID/OD mics, bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and instructions for in process and final inspections across a wide variety of customized parts and assemblies with very close tolerances and specifications.
• Determine method of inspection and set up requirements on first article parts.
• Has authority to notify management to stop a machine operation to avoid continued production of defective parts.
• Maintain records of results using 1Factory system and prepare appropriate reports.
• Follow Safety Rules and wear PPE.
