Job summary

Tarkett Sports, a world leader in sports construction and surfacing, seeks a Quality Inspector I to perform routine inspection and testing across Coating, Tufting, Logos, Graphics Tufting, and Lab. You will visually inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products, and record measurements such as roll width and pile height.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, basic math, and good communication; physically able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and math skills required to read specs and records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and specifications.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect coatings, tufting, logos, graphics tufting, and lab processes for defects and record findings.
• Take measurements (width, pile height) and verify material specs; place quality holds as needed.
• Prepare samples for lab and third-party testing.
• Record inspection data accurately and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
• Support testing like Instron and finished product checks as required.
