Job summary

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC is seeking a quality inspector to perform routine inspection and testing of in-process and finished products at our City of Industry, CA location. You will coordinate workflow, maintain calibration of instruments, and generate inspection reports.

You will use micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and Keyence systems, ensuring compliance with GD&T and blueprints while meeting safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certificate related to inspection or mechanical testing preferred.
• 0-2 years aerospace manufacturing/inspection experience; aerospace fasteners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and testing of product in-process and finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Organize and prioritize department work flow to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Perform receiving inspections of product and tooling including plating thickness, dimensional, visual, and mechanical breakload/testing.
• Prepare jobs for final inspection (blinds & solids), generate final inspection reports, and pull samples as required.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and in good working condition; record test results on forms and reports.
• Operate Keyence with pre-programmed inspection templates and understand SPC data collection systems.
• Meet productivity standards and follow safety regulations; maintain good housekeeping.
