Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering is hiring a Quality Control inspector to maintain forecasted quality standards by inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products and recording results.

The role requires hands-on use of calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, along with interpreting drawings and generating NCRs for discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related quality or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Experience using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished product across all technologies.
• Use hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Interpret drawings for dimensional and visual requirements.
• Generate NCRs for discrepant material.
• Apply GD&T to measuring parts.
• Provide feedback to other departments on inspection results.
• Document inspection results in QA database.
• Follow guidelines for using and maintaining measurement tools.
• Provide feedback to QA Manager or QC Lead on inspection issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
