Job summary

Amcor in Kentucky is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections and testing to ensure product quality. You will identify quality issues, place affected items on hold, and communicate findings to the QA team.

The role includes data entry into SPC software, trend analysis, and adherence to GMP and safety guidelines. Responsibilities cover inspection, testing, documentation, and collaboration with production to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read and interpret reports.
• Strong mathematical ability; able to perform calculations and determine spec limits.
• Capable of learning and using MS Office, RealSPC, SAP and other software.
• Flexible for 12-hour shifts, weekends and schedule changes.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report actual or potential quality issues and trends.
• Place suspect products on hold and communicate findings to QA personnel.
• Enter data into SPC software and analyze trends.
• Elevate issues to QA Manager and Shift Supervisor as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow GMP safety rules.
