Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections and testing to ensure quality standards are met. You will identify actual or potential quality issues, place suspect products on hold, and report findings to QA staff.

Responsibilities include data entry into SPC software, trend analysis, defect management, and effective communication with internal teams. Flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Technical skills: Ability to perform calculations and use MS Office, RealSPC, SAP.
• Other requirements: Interpret instructions, use independent judgment under production pressure.
• Flexibility: 12-hour shifts, weekends, schedule adjustments.
• Physical requirements: Stand/walk up to 11 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull 900 lbs.
• Licenses: Valid forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Safety and Quality Goals: Meet targets in safety, quality, production, performance, and cost.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety rules and PPE, identify safety concerns.
• Training: Complete CBTs and BSOs by deadlines.
• GMP: Adhere to GMP and AIB guidelines.
• Inspection and Testing: Collect samples for evaluation and data recording.
• Data Entry & Analysis: Enter data into SPC software and analyze trends.
• Defect Management: Place non-conforming products on hold and escalate issues to QA Manager.
• Communication: Communicate findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Product Knowledge: Understand finished product specs, packaging requirements, and quality expectations.
• Material Testing: Mix and test bottle lubricants for proper results.
• Housekeeping: Maintain clean, organized work area.
