Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical quality certifications are a plus
• Must hold J-STD and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English needed
• Able to pass visual acuity, color/depth perception and microscopic inspection requirements
• Proficient with measuring tools (ruler, caliper, tape) and documentation

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend customer drawings, parts lists, wire lists, processes and specifications in English
• Perform in-process, pre-mold, and final inspections on cable and harness assemblies
• Use magnifier lamps and microscopes for inspection
• Record measurements and verify conformance to documents
• Perform 100% inspection on each cable assembly
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Complete Final Inspection Data Sheets for each assembly
• Conduct First Article Inspections on new products
• Identify and report recurring quality issues and suggest corrective actions
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and adherence to procedures
