Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Virginia is seeking a Quality Inspector to support a Work to Standard manufacturing culture by auditing products and processes and then reviewing results with workstation operators to improve quality.

The role ensures quality product is produced to specifications and that routine inspections are performed accurately, with timely feedback to drive continuous improvement. A HS diploma and 3+ years manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply information in standard work documents; strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of products, processes, and standard work to determine action during audits.
• Awareness of the impact audits have on manufacturing processes and ability to minimize negative production impact.
• Resiliency in modeling to standard for others who may not immediately comply.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined audits of product and processes and summarize results in electronic tablet.
• Review audit findings and discuss work standards with operators after every audit to provide feedback and drive improvement.
• Evaluate audit findings and discuss with operational leaders; update standards as needed to resolve issues.
• Assist in product containments, summarize audit findings at tier 1, review quality documentation (IQ Reports, Quality Alerts, Test Wall Report).
• Other duties assigned by supervisor
