Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an entry-level technician for testing, quality, engineering or related technical work in a lab, test area or production environment. You will collect data, produce test reports, and help create manufacturing documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Evidence of responsibility for verifying product conformance to specifications in quality or production roles.
  • Experience in document creation and control.
  • Preferred experience in an extrusion environment.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, SPC, process capability and lean tools.
  • Desire to grow and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Collects/records data and provides accurate test reports and manufacturing documents.
  • Take direction from others on requirements to provide data back to aid method determination.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Works with limited supervision.
  • Performs technical support for assigned work area.
  • Reports recommendations for improvements to technical issues.
  • Carries out test/work requests.
  • Creates quality control and Standard work documentation.
  • Performs safety assessment activities.
