Job summary

Apex International, the world’s largest Anilox manufacturer, seeks a Quality Inspection technician at its Donora, PA production facility. The role focuses on ensuring products meet Apex standards through incoming and final inspections and by following blueprints.

You will use calipers, tape measures, and other tools; read drawings; coordinate with order support; operate overhead cranes; work 8-hour daylight shift Mon–Fri with possible overtime; benefits include health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs regularly.
• Must be able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires a general understanding and comfort with use of MS Office and Windows OS.
• Must be able to maintain a neat and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of used and new products for reconditioning and customer orders.
• Conduct final inspection of outgoing rolls to ensure quality meets Apex standards.
• Communicate with order support on repairs and other required actions.
• Move products through facility using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Read and understand drawings/blueprints of machine parts; training will be provided.
• Measure manufactured parts using tools like tape measures, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
