Job summary

Nivel Parts and Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector / Assembly Technician II to inspect and assemble vehicle components per client specifications. The role involves evaluating workmanship, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring proper function before shipment.

The ideal candidate will follow written instructions, assemble components into finished vehicles, document inspection results, and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership. Prior assembly experience is required.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of vehicle assembly experience.
  • Basic mechanical skills, familiar with tools, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role.
  • Good eye-hand coordination to construct small parts and pieces into a final product.
  • Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work from written job instructions, point-to-point wire lists and wiring schematics.
  • Install mechanical components into specialty vehicles and, in some cases, make electrical connections as necessary.
  • Use PPE properly to prevent incidents.
  • Inspecting assembled products for faults or defects.

Description

The Quality Inspector / Assembly Technician II primary role is to inspect and/or assemble parts and components onto a larger finished good according to specifications from clients or supervisors. In addition, you might be called to perform diagnostic tests of assembled goods before they’re shipped to check proper working function so any adjustments can be made accordingly.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for following written work instructions, assembling component parts into a finished vehicle, documenting inspection results, and communicating identified improvement opportunities to relevant department leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Work from written job instructions, point-to-point wire lists and wiring schematics.
  • Install mechanical components into specialty vehicles and in some cases make electrical connections as necessary.
  • Use PPE (personal protection equipment) properly to prevent unexpected incidents.
  • Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
  • Preparing and coordinating vehicles for shipment.
  • Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to management
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by strictly adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to the accomplishment of the organization’s quality goals and mission by fulfilling any related tasks as required.
