Job summary

Trane Technologies in Colorado is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Quality Department, working with ASME engineers and our inspection agency to ensure products meet Engineering Specifications and ASME requirements. The role is a 2nd shift position after training on the day shift.

You will perform pneumatic/hydro inspections, review repairs, maintain logs, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and weld symbols.
• Familiar with standard and metric units of measure.
• Proficient with common hand, pneumatic and measuring tools.
• Certified crane operator preferred.
• Willing to learn and improve technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform pneumatic/hydro and weld inspections per ASME and Trane specs.
• Spot weld nameplates to pressure vessels per procedures.
• Review repair procedures and accept/reject as needed.
• Maintain test logs and forms for pressure vessels.
• Perform NDE (PT/MT) as required.
• Inspect received ASME parts and produce ASME nameplates.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
