Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring an Assembler for 2nd shift to perform high-level repetitive line assembly of parts for HVAC units in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and teamwork on an on-site production floor.

The position requires familiarity with hand and power tools, basic math, and the ability to read drawings and method sheets. Shift hours are Mon-Thu, 3:30pm-2:00am, with opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• One year in manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand and power tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
• Experience operating fork trucks and hoists preferred.
• Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
• Read, understand, and apply method sheets and assembly diagrams.
• Use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels to ensure quality.
• Load and unload units onto conveyors and carts.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment and create work orders for repairs.
