Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our new team in Quonset, RI. The Quality team works with our customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements.

You will learn and execute detailed inspection processes necessary to ensure a quality product in a timely manner. Some daily duties include inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality specifications are met,

Qualifications

Experience with calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD).
GD&T knowledge and understanding of dimensions and tolerances.
Experience inspecting machined parts and mechanical assemblies.
Experience inspecting electrical and electronic components (power supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses).
Experience with AS9100/ISO9001/IATF16949 or similar QMS.
Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted and communicate with suppliers.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspections.
Support material review board processes.
Propose, develop and implement QA policies with product quality engineers.
Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity and quality.
Support calibration processes and internal/external audits.
