The quality inspector will be in charge of inspecting automotive related parts that can weigh up to 15lbs. This can include visual and dimensional inspection.
Qualitied candidates will need to have prior quality technician experience within manufacturing and ideally parts manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient visual and dimensional inspection, and to detect and segregate non-conforming products
- Continuous improvement of work and activities
- Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner
- Time management and organizational skills
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Adherence to 5S principles
- Visual sorting and segregation of product based on existing criteria
- Dimensional inspection and segregation of product based on existing criteria
- NDT inspection and segregation of product based on existing criteria
- Accurate completion of documentation on activities performed
- Assist in training new or less experienced co-workers
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years" experience in production, sorting or dimensional inspection
- Basic understanding of ISO/TS 16949
- NDT method knowledge (preferred)
- Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
