OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking a QA Inspector to inspect electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies for conformance to specifications at our Richardson facility.
The role is on the second shift (2:30 pm–1:00 am) with occasional extended hours and Saturday work, training during first shift will be required. Use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools; maintain ERP records; and participate in audits to ensure quality procedures in an ISO 9001 environment.

The QA Inspector will perform inspection of electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components, and/or devices for conformance to specifications, assembly practices, and established standards with limited supervision. Reports to the Inspections Supervisor.
This role is for the second shift team: Monday – Thursday 2:30 pm‑1:00 am (some extended hours may be required from time to time) & some Saturdays, on a 4/10 holiday schedule.
The work location will primarily be our Lookout manufacturing facility in Richardson. The successful candidate will be required to work from our Dallas office occasionally as needed until approximately the first of the new year.
The successful candidate will be required to complete training for the position during first‑shift work hours for the first four weeks of employment.
The QA Inspector will be trained to use automatic test equipment (ATE) continuity checkers, hi‑pot testers, micrometers, calipers, scales, dial indicators, various gauges, digital electronic meters, microscope, optical comparator, and other standard/non‑standard inspection equipment. Required usage of equipment is determined by the specific area of operation.
The employee must regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
The job location is usually in a temperature‑controlled environment. Work areas may also include a testing area that is not temperature controlled. Noise levels are usually moderate but may be loud.
Pay may range from $26.00 to $30.00 hourly (+10% shift differential pay).
Base salary is only a component of the total rewards package.
