Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift on weekends (Friday-Sunday, 5pm-5:30am) at the Springboro, OH facility. You will perform in-process inspections and support adherence to standards across manufacturing operations.

The role requires prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting, with proficiency in using gages, micrometers and calipers, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Quality inspector is responsbile for in process inspection for our manufacturing processes.

• Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities
• Must have a good attendance record
• Previous Quality inspection a must (experience in a manufacturing environment as plus)
• Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc
• Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures
• Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures
• Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards
• Must be able to utilize basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA
• Ensure all EHS compliance is met
• Must be able to use computer and email for data entry
• Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED required. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
