Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 to perform routine inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies on an onsite 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm). You will inspect soldered connections and components, prepare documentation for acceptance or rejection, and support QA audits and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency with measurement tools and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and parts lists; understand inspection requirements.
• Skilled in using measurement and test equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Experience with casting, forging, molding, stainless-steel and electronic components used in the aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and aerospace quality standards such as AS9100.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine visual and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Inspect soldered connections, wires, sensors, and other components using gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque ranges, and similar tools.
• Prepare documentation for acceptance/rejection of inspected/tested items and maintain clear records.
• Support internal audits and corrective action follow-ups as required.
• Implement and maintain technical quality assurance procedures and participate in assigned QA tasks.
• Follow detailed job instructions and apply systematic QA approaches to resolve routine issues.
