Job summary

Techneeds is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform electromechanical inspections and validate incoming components. You’ll verify conformance to drawings and IPC-A-610, maintain supplier quality metrics, and use calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and gauges to ensure high-quality electrical equipment.

This role offers weekday hours (Mon–Fri) and a contract-to-hire pathway within a respected New England technology and engineering staffing firm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control or inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Familiar with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
• Strong math, measurement, and testing skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical quality inspections on incoming components and materials.
• Ensure products meet drawings and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Maintain supplier quality metrics and root-cause analysis.
• Use calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Document results and support non-conformance investigations.
