A leading company in the industry is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure product compliance and accuracy based on specifications and customer requirements. The role demands precision in inspecting small and fragile parts, utilizing various inspection tools, and generating reports on compliance. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and effective communication skills. This position supports continuous improvement in product quality and inspection methodologies.
Work from semi-complicated specifications and drawings, or other documentation
Ensure product compliance by inspecting product characteristics
Verify proper inspection methods as shown in SAP
Verify shipments match part numbers and requirements of purchase orders
Verify correct vendor certifications
Carry out Workstation Audits in specific areas, as required
Check parts for count, finish, quality of workmanship, and general appearance
Make final determination if parts meet inspection criteria
Generate Defective Material Reports for products that do not conform to the requirements.
Participate and promote continuous improvements
Education and/or Experience
Highschool Diploma
Language Skills
Ability to read English, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
Specific Job Skills, Specialized Knowledge or Certifications
Analyze products based on given requirements
Ability to communicate effectively to individuals and groups
Able to work on small and fragile parts with minimal errors
Analyse the pieces compliance according to process and customer requirements
Able to translate specifications to inspection of parts following the inspection methodology expected
Able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, rulers, micrometers and microscopes
Awareness and follow protocol (AS9100)

Performs functions within the companies ERP system (SAP)
Read and understand the differences between millimeters and inches
Able to properly utilize equipment to review small products
