Job summary

TekWissen LLC seeks a Quality Inspector in Vance, Alabama for a 12-month temporary assignment onsite at the Tuscaloosa plant. You will inspect seats pre-shipment, perform EOL/FAM testing, and ensure compliance with customer specs and quality standards.

Demonstrated accuracy with measurement tools and a track record in manufacturing are required. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement; you will contribute to 5S initiatives and participate in supervisory streams as

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of measurement devices and gauges.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-of-line testers, front and rear seat inspections, and blind audits.
• Ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Address non-conformances by repair or segregation from conforming product.
• Achieve operator certification per plant processes.
• Follow SWIs, forms, and procedures; participate in team meetings.

Job Description:

• As a member of the quality team, the quality team member will be responsible ensuring that seats are given a final inspection prior to shipment to the customer

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Assist with the execution of EOL/FAM testers, front and rear seat inspections, and blind audit
• Demonstrate knowledge of customer specifications and quality requirements
• All non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected, or identified and segregated from conforming product
• Achieve operator certification according to the plant certification process
• Adhere to the standard work instructions (SWI's), forms, work instructions, and procedures
• Participate in team meetings and understands performance goals and objectives
• Assure safety and quality standards are followed at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
• Performing all other duties assigned.
