Job summary

RivCut Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our precision manufacturing team. You will verify part conformance for aerospace, medical, and automotive customers using CMMs, optical comparators, and hand tools, and you will document results in our quality system.

The role emphasizes first-article and in-process inspections, strict GD&T interpretation, and accurate record-keeping. A 2+ year background in manufacturing quality is required; ASQ CQI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Strong GD&T symbol knowledge and interpretation.
• Experience with CMMs and programming (PC-DMIS/Zeiss).
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-article and in-process inspections on CNC machined parts.
• Operate CMMs for complex inspections and use precision instruments.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Create and maintain inspection reports and quality records.

In this critical role, you will ensure that all parts leaving our facility meet the exacting standards required by our aerospace, medical, and automotive customers.You'll work with precision measuring equipment including CMMs, optical comparators, and a full range of hand tools to verify part conformance to customer specifications.
