Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join its manufacturing team in New York. The role involves inspecting machined parts, reading blueprints, and ensuring products meet tolerances before moving to production or shipping.

You will perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges, complete first article inspections, review drawings, and document inspection records for traceability.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments to inspect parts.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to halt production if quality standards are not met.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components throughout production.
• Complete first article inspections before production begins.
• Verify finished parts meet blueprint specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
• Review work orders and inspection documentation for accuracy.
• Identify nonconforming parts and communicate quality concerns promptly.
