Job summary

Metallized Carbon Corporation (Metcar) in Ossining, NY seeks a detail‑oriented Quality Inspector to inspect raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. The role requires tight attention to detail and experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Position Summary:

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• Overtime required based on production needs
• We offer a generous compensation package, which includes competitive hourly up to $20.00 p/h D.O.E, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, Vacation & sick/personal days and Life insurance. $250.00 SIGN-ON BONUS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED; College degree a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing. Fast paced. Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
