Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Inspector for our aerospace engineering and manufacturing division. You will analyze drawings, verify dimensions with precision instruments, and perform FAI to ensure supplier and in-house parts meet requirements before production release.

Work within a QMS framework (AS9100/ISO) and contribute to NCRs, MRB processes, and accurate quality documentation while maintaining a safe workspace and adherence to company procedures.

• Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and internal work instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T specifications.
• Record inspection results with precision, preparing inspection documentation and NCRs.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards during inspections.

Job Details

• Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and internal work instructions to determine required dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform dimensional verification of components using standard inspection equipment, including height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Execute first article inspections (FAI) or equivalent acceptance activities to confirm supplier and in-house parts meet requirements prior to production release.
• Record inspection results with precision, preparing inspection documentation, nonconformance reports (NCRs), and maintaining accurate quality documentation.
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) evaluations and disposition activities when nonconforming material is discovered.
• Operate in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS), helping ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards.
• Maintain an organized, safe workspace while following all company safety, quality, and procedural requirements.
