Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions seeks a Traveling Quality Inspector in Seguin, TX. The first shift runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and pays $18.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license and travel are required for this position.

The role reports to the Site Supervisor/Site Leads and involves interacting with production teams to ensure product conformance. The inspector will perform quality inspections and audits on incoming materials, identify non-conforming items, and implement rework, sorting, or scrapping

Qualifications

• 1+ year in quality-related position.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

• Use hand tools and inspect/repair parts as needed.

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Traveling Quality Inspector in Seguin, TX.

This is a 1st shift job 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and the pay is $18.00 / hr.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

• The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.

Operations

• The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
• Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
• Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.

Organization & Management

• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.

Technical

• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
