Job description

The role of a Quality Inspector is essential in maintaining and improving the standards of manufacturing processes, particularly in environments that produce bottles, containers, and packaging components through extrusion blow molding. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical part in ensuring that products meet stringent company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. This position is designed for individuals who are meticulous, quality-driven, and reliable, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards in every aspect of the inspection process.

In this Quality Inspector opportunity, candidates will work within a dynamic manufacturing or fulfillment center environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product consistency. Your expertise will help identify any deviations from quality expectations, and your proactive approach will contribute to reducing defects and enhancing the overall production process.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of all products and components, utilizing a variety of measurement tools such as calipers and gauges to verify specifications. Maintaining detailed records and documentation is a fundamental aspect of the role, ensuring that quality data is accurately reported and any nonconformances are addressed promptly. Communication is key, as you will liaise regularly with machine operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisory staff to resolve quality issues and support the smooth operation of the manufacturing line.

The Quality Inspector position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and compliance with both internal and external quality standards. Candidates should bring a strong understanding of manufacturing protocols, preferably with experience in plastics, packaging, or extrusion blow molding. Familiarity with ISO quality systems, FDA regulations, or GMP environments is highly valued, as is the ability to use quality inspection software or ERP systems to streamline quality control activities.

Working as a Quality Inspector offers the chance to contribute to a culture of excellence, with the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements that drive operational efficiency. This is an ideal role for those who are passionate about quality assurance and take pride in delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations. The work is both physically and mentally engaging, requiring the ability to stand, bend, and lift items throughout the shift, as well as a focus on detail-oriented documentation and continuous communication with team members.
