Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Pooler/Savannah, GA.

The role involves setting up and operating advanced nondestructive test equipment to determine effective inspection methods for each application, ensuring product quality and process integrity. You will read drawings, perform dimensional and visual inspections, operate CMM, and participate in TPMs and testing to verify dimensions and detect defects.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training.
• Basic math and measurement ability.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions.
• General knowledge of all other shop processes.

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Operate CMM using established programs.
• Perform moment weigh inspections and tap testing operation.
• Verify specified dimensions of parts or material.
• Test product for structural defects such as leaks or internal cracks.
• Perform air flow testing.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
• Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
