Job summary

Pride Mobility & Quantum Rehab in the United States is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform final inspections on finished goods to ensure they meet order specs, production standards, and FDA requirements.

You will use the Matrix system to document product data in the Device History Record, work with teams, follow instructions, and help maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area. This role is safety sensitive and requires attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Must be detail-oriented, friendly, and a reliable team member.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and documentation.
  • Experience with basic computer tasks and quality guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished product for defects and ensure tolerances meet specifications.
  • Verify conformance to order specs and FDA regulations.
  • Document product information in the Matrix system and DHR.
  • Communicate concerns to management and follow safety rules.
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of the work area.
  • Be flexible to other duties as assigned.

Job description

Perform final visual and physical inspections on finished goods to meet order specifications, production standards and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Inspect finished product for defects or imperfections in aesthetics and function and to ensure tolerances and product specifications are met
  • Ensure conformance to order specifications and FDA regulations
  • Utilize the ProductionWare (Matrix) system and ensure that all pertinent product information is documented and recorded onto the Device History Record (DHR)
  • Use a team-oriented approach and communicate concerns and issues to management
  • Follow Work Instructions and perform duties assigned with minimal supervision
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have the ability to:

  • Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
  • Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, policies, and procedures
  • Identify and record facts
  • Stand/Walk/Bend throughout the workday
  • Lift/Push/Pull 40 lbs.

Must have:

  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 2 years of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role with specific quality guidelines/standards
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification preferred
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
