Job summary

nVent is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer expectations and quality standards.

You will verify dimensional accuracy, sign off on test reports, and maintain records while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs the inspection of quality of material to ensure it meets customer expectations; Reject non-conforming materials according to procedures.
• Verifies dimensional correctness and quality of workmanship of product.
• Checks electrical phasing on all factory assembled systems; signs electrical test reports on finished product.
• Performs installation, maintenance, and repair duties as necessary.
• Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained.
• Maintains complete and accurate records and documentation of test/inspection activities.
• Stages equipment, tools, and parts, and directs subcontractors as necessary.
• Submits reports, records, and paperwork in a timely fashion.

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for repetitive and routine inspection to ensure parts, units, equipment, or material follow quality standards.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Performs the inspection of quality of material to ensure it meets customer expectations Reject non-conforming materials according to written procedures.
• Verifies dimensional correctness and quality of workmanship of product.
