Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of precision-machined aerospace parts. You will use advanced measuring equipment—including CMMs—to ensure every part meets customer specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dimensional & Visual Inspection: Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on complex aerospace components using precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators).
• CMM Operation: Setup and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using pre-existing programs to verify part geometry and tight tolerances.
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Interpret complex engineering drawings, job routing sheets, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts.
• Documentation & First Article Inspections: Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
• Non-Conformance Handling: Identify, tag, and document non-conforming parts; collaborate with machinists and engineering to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Quality Compliance: Maintain inspection logs, calibration tracking, and quality records consistent with internal standard operating procedures.
