HGC Industries in Indianapolis is seeking a Final Inspector to perform the final quality checks on Hoosier Gasket products before shipment. You will measure parts, read engineering drawings, and ensure compliance with quality standards using calipers, micrometers, and Mylar overlays.
The role requires high school diploma or GED and 2 years of QA/inspection experience is a plus. You will document quality data, reject non-conforming parts, assist in preparing compliant parts for delivery, and
This role supports the mission and Core Values of HGC Industries by performing the final quality checks before HGC products ship to the customer. The Final Inspector inspects and measures parts during the final audit/inspection to verify that they meet quality standards. After parts pass inspection, assist in preparing parts for shipping following customer and HGC guidelines. In instances where parts do not meet quality standards, troubleshoot the parts and reject them back to production for re-inspection.

Fast-paced, deadline-oriented manufacturing plant and office. The person will be exposed to noise, dirt, dust, fumes, odors, chemicals, and other airborne particles. They will use heavy machinery and/or hand or power tools. Will work with or near dry ice, CO2 gas, and/or silicone. Wear protective clothing/equipment. May work in areas of extreme heat.
