Job summary

Staffmark Group in Hot Springs, AR is hiring a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet aerospace quality standards. You will inspect parts against drawings, GD&T, and specifications, and document findings with precise records.

You will generate AS9102 FAIRs, review documentation, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues while maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Previous aerospace inspection experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace quality control, quality inspection, or aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
• Proficiency creating AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, scales, protractors, and inspection gauges.
• Experience with CAD/CAM, CNC programming, CMM operation, DPD, and MBD is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and quality documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Support aerospace manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Perform detailed product inspections using engineering drawings, specifications, mylars, sketches, and tooling documents.
• Conduct dimensional, hardness, conductivity, and mechanical inspections to verify product compliance.
• Generate AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and maintain accurate quality records.
• Review internal documentation against customer requirements and industry standards.
• Inspect mechanical assemblies for functionality, safety, and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with production teams, communicate quality concerns, and proactively maintain inspection resources.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Complete additional quality assurance and inspection responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Capable of bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and performing repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
• Must possess full use of hands and arms for inspection and measurement activities.
• Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
