Job summary

Total Talent Resources and QFS is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will inspect and measure materials, verify against blueprints, and support quality documentation processes to ensure products meet standards before shipment.

The 1st shift runs 6am–2:30pm (may start at 5am); pay rate is $21.00/hr. Candidates should read tape measures, use measuring tools, and maintain documentation in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of Quality Inspector experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required/preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and convert fractions to decimals.
• Experience using measuring tools and reading blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
• Hazards/concerns reported to Illinois Department of Labor hotline or email.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure materials/products.
• Monitor production processes and recommend adjustments when needed.
• Accept/reject finished goods and quarantine non-conforming materials.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation.
• Communicate inspection findings with Production and Quality teams.
• Support calibration activities and maintain inspection records.
