Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection, manufacturing, production, or quality control experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications, drawings, safety procedures, and work instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, assembly, woodworking, fabrication, or production environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cosmetic and dimensional defects.
  • Experience recording inspection results and maintaining accurate quality documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, production personnel, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands for inspecting, handling, and evaluating products.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, color recognition, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment, to identify product defects accurately.
Job Duties
  • Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, quality, and compliance with production specifications.
  • Visually examine and physically inspect products for defects including dents, blemishes, color variations, splits, loose joints, holes, mismatched components, and sanding imperfections.
  • Verify product conformance using written specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Record and report quantities of accepted and rejected materials accurately.
  • Maintain inspection records and communicate quality concerns to production and management teams.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying trends and recurring defects.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality requirements, and production standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Will Do

As a Quality Inspector you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
