Responsibilities

• Check first piece, in-process and last piece to verify parts meet customer specifications.
• Work with supervisors and operators to make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Record inspection results and measure/record data for First Article Reports.
• Measure and record plating thickness.
• Final inspection / authorization to ship product.
• May assist in Incoming Inspection.
• Perform equipment calibration per schedule.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and required.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Pay Range: $22 - $30 Hourly

• Check Production 1st piece, in process and last piece to verify the parts meet the customer's specifications.
• Work with supervisors and operators to make necessary adjustments as are needed.
• Record inspection results.
• Measure and record data for First Article Reports.
• Measure and record plating thickness.
• Final inspection / authorization to ship product.
• May assist in Incoming Inspection.
• Perform equipment calibration per schedule.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned and required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in use of a variety of measuring equipment.
• Proficient blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret a flat layout from a formed view.
• Proficient math skills.
• Experience with SPC, CPK, Xbar and R charts, Pareto Diagrams, FMEA, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Experience with metal manufacturing processes.
• Experience with the ISO 9001 standards for documentation and record keeping.
• Demonstrated experience with quality assurance practices.
