Job summary

IQ Resource Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Elk River, MN area. Pay is $23.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience. This direct hire opportunity offers first, second, and weekend shifts to support manufacturing throughput.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods, performing First Article Inspections, and ensuring parts meet customer specs. You will document data in the MES and support calibration of tools.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing inspection required.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.
• Ability to use inspection equipment and input data into MES.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

IQ Resource Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Elk River, MN area! Pay: $23.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am
• Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm

This is a Direct Hire! We are currently adding Quality Inspectors across 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts. This is a great fit for someone who has a background in manufacturing inspection, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections at multiple stages including incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) prior to production runs
• Confirm parts and materials meet customer specifications and order requirements
• Operate various inspection equipment including CMM, OGP systems, and other gauges and fixtures
• Review and understand blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications
• Document and input inspection data into the MES system
• Verify all required paperwork and certifications are complete before products are released for shipment
• Assist with upkeep and calibration of inspection tools and equipment
• Report any quality concerns or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Prior experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is required
• Experience in precision machining or mechanical inspection is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with GD&T
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified standards
• CMM experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Excel
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial
• Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is a plus
