Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Bristol, PA

Duration: 3 Months (with potential extension or conversion based on performance and budget)

Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform routine visual and dimensional inspections on sub-assemblies, completed assemblies, and work-in-progress items.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct repetitive visual and dimensional inspections on vendor-supplied mechanical and electronic components.
2. Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections, along with basic functional tests on selected components.
3. Interpret wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and specifications to carry out inspection duties.
4. Follow detailed instructions and inspection procedures for receiving and in-process inspections.
5. Inspect PCB assemblies for telemetry systems and electronic equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
6. Verify proper identification and mounting of components.
7. Document inspection results through reports and forms.
8. Identify and report operating issues or questionable conditions to supervisors.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in electronic component quality inspection and PCB assembly inspection.
• Ability to obtain IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 certifications within two weeks of hire.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and using standard measuring tools.
• Physical ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communication skills for discussing quality-related topics daily.
