Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to audit products for defects and ensure conformance to cosmetics, safety, and operation standards. You will support containment actions and rework to meet engineering specifications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of manufacturing experience; SAP/MES familiarity is preferred. Worksite is onsite in Augusta, GA, with first shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Microsoft Suite, SAP, MES preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit product that is presented to Quality for acceptance for defects pertaining to cosmetics, safety, part presence, and operation.
• Maintain audit check sheets in QA database and ensure data is correct in the Total Quality Management (TQM) software.
• Assist in investigation and containment when safety and quality issues are found.
• Perform rework to vehicles on quality hold in order to meet engineering specification and follow containment procedure, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
