Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the Augusta, GA team. You will identify root causes of non-conformance, communicate findings to the production line, and participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities to keep the line at the forefront of the industry.

Disassembly and assembly of engines, cart evaluation, and confidential handling of designs and test data are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of quality or manufacturing experience.
• ASE certification is a plus and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete all assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.
