Job summary

Biomerics is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for its Winston-Salem, NC facility. This entry‑level role performs the inspection process to established specifications before placing product into usable stock on the night shift.

You will inspect materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished devices, read specifications, use hand tools and calibrated instruments, and help maintain environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing/quality a plus.
• Experience in a medical device environment a plus.
• Basic math and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished devices at all phases of manufacturing per released specifications.
• Identify the product, including the inspection and test status.
• Read and understand specifications and part drawings.
• Utilize and maintain hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Maintain controlled environment integrity by using proper attire and adherence to control room environment practices and procedures.
• Assist in processing non-conforming material throughout the manufacturing process.
