Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspection Supervisor to lead the Inspection team on the production floor, supervising inspectors and coordinating activities across sites. You will ensure products and processes conform to industry and customer standards.

Qualifications

2+ years in Quality Supervisory role in electronics or aerospace manufacturing.
5+ years hands-on quality inspection experience in electronics or aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Management Systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the inspection team.
Lead and coach inspectors: train and mentor, monitor performance, and develop capabilities.
Ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards and legal/safety requirements.
Manage inspection records and metrics: document deviations, corrective actions and maintain traceability.
Handle nonconforming material promptly and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Quality Engineering.
Produce weekly inspection reports highlighting findings, trends, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making.
Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives
Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality performance.
