Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with associates, management and guests.
• Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling, standing and walking for duration of shift.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, ability to push/pull medium to large objects/weights.
• Ability to work under time constraints, in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, removing trash
• Greet and acknowledge guests
• Handle and store chemicals, wearing provided safety protection equipment according to brand standard and any other local legislative requirements
• Communicate when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures.
• Report to supervisor any needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Follow established safety procedures at all times, immediately reporting any health or safety incidents, security breaches or suspicious behavior to supervisor or manager on duty
• Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction
• Monitor and control supplies, keeping cart neat, clean and stocked.
• Record and turn in all lost and found items, according to established procedures
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments according to established procedures, to ensure excellent quality and service
• Complete any other duties or special projects as assigned

To deliver a great guest experience-a Room Attendant will clean and service guest rooms so everything is spotless and prepared for guests.
