Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Industrial Engineer to ensure and enhance product quality across the manufacturing lifecycle in Paarl. You will analyze quality data and implement control systems across raw materials through finished goods.

Work with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues, conduct audits, and train staff on quality procedures. A strong candidate has a degree in engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, and experience with ISO 9001 and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of quality control methodologies and SPC.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to address deviations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Oversee internal audits and ensure compliance with industry quality standards (e.g., ISO).
• Develop and deliver training on quality procedures and standards to relevant personnel.
